dr. REBEKAH HARTFIELD
FOUNDER/VETERINARIAN
Dr. Hartfield holds two associate’s degrees, a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Texas A&M, and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University.
After graduating vet school, she joined a mixed animal clinic in Cushing, Okla., where her passion for and advocacy of veterinary medicine grew. There she began a personal journey to educate, encourage, and inspire the next generation of veterinarians. Out of this desire, The Doctor Hartfield Veterinary Book Series was born. The books chronicle Abby, a young girl who lives on a farm, and Dr. H. as they examine, diagnose, and treat various animals on Abby’s farm. The books intend to help educate young children about veterinary care and practices while helping them better care for their pets. Today, in addition to operating her own veterinary clinics, Dr. Hartfield continues her work as an author reading to and educating students in the tri-state area.
In 2019 Dr. Hartfield bought her first practice in Holdenville, OK, where she spends her week days helping both large and small animals! She resides in Mannford with her husband Preston, and young son Paden. In their free time they enjoy their time spent on Lake Keystone.
